Title: The Importance of Faithfulness

God Hates a lie. Out of the six things the Lord hates, two are lying. He hates lying so much, he mentioned it twice in Proverbs 6:16-19.

You can't be faithful if you are lying. God expects us to follow through with our promises.

Faithfulness comes down to how much we love God and His Kingdom.

Matthew 25:14-15 - We have received the washing away of all of our sins; we have received the Holy Ghost; God has delivered us so much that we can't list them all here.

How do you feel? Do you want to conquer things in your life? Do you want to be able to hold your tongue? Maybe stop swearing? Before you can get all of these things, you need to be faithful.

Most people who aren't faithful are lazy. It takes a lot of work to be faithful. But laziness will get you into trouble in the Kingdom of God.

Faithfulness. Attend church regularly. There is something about brethren all coming together to pray and learn that can't be accomplished on your own. If you want to grow in your faith, you need to be with your brethren. Matthew 18:20 (Note takers Note: By brethren I refer to all church members, male or female, Bishop, or congregation member)

We've got a great God who loves us (very much). We've got a glorious God that provides for us. It's our calling, our duty, to be faithful to Him.

Part of being faithful is being trusting. Trust in God. If you are faithful, He will provide! Being faithful is an important thing. A rewarding thing. A thing you have to work at.

Do you have a plan? Or are you just going through life hoping that God is going to just *POOF* your instantly blessed? You need a plan. You need faithfulness. God will provide, but you must be faithful.

Do you fast at all? God moves in a fast. A fast takes faithfulness. God will bless your finances. God will bless your health. God will bless your family. Whatever you need, God will provide to those that are faithful. If He provides for those that aren't faithful, think how much moreover He provides to those that are faithful! God is faithful. Are you?

Remember the widow who only had two coins? Refresh: Mark 12:41-44 tells us that the widow gave only two coins. The smallest of coins at that. Yet she gave more of herself than anyone else had. She gave all she had while the wealthy gave what they felt comfortable giving. Tithes aren't easy. Sometimes we have to give our last farthing to remain faithful. But God doesn't forget the faithful. God will provide. The widow was faithful. How about you?
